CHÂTEAU LA FLEUR SAINT-PAUL
Simplicity and elegance
Fourth generation of vine-grower, Pierre-Emmanuel Janoueix took over the family vineyard in 2000, with for ambition to perpetuate the quality and to prove that Montagne-Saint-Emilion can also be a great wine.
Vines werepulled up and replaced with most adapted vines from a local selection. The yields were reduced by 15 to 20 %. The wine storehouse has totally been renewed and equipped in thermoregulation.
The Château La Fleur Saint-Paul is the second wine of the Château La Bastienne, made with the grapes from the young vines.
We chose not to use oak barrel for this wine to express all the fruit and the freshness, which makes it easier to drink young.
It is a round and fruity wine, with red fruits flavours, very pleasant to drink in its youth.
Consumption To drink into the first 5 years. Serve at 16°C (60.8°F).
CHÂTEAU LA FLEUR SAINT-PAUL 2009 Silver Medal in Concours des Vignerons Indépendants 2012.
